Description

Come and join us on the 7th of July 2018 at Gorse Hill Manchester to talk, learn and celebrate all things mental health!

Exhale is a free, not-for-profit, family-friendly mental health event dedicated to breaking the stigma and building communities.

From 10:30 am to 17:30 pm, we will have talks from people who have achieved great things despite struggling with mental health and activities to help you care for your mental wellbeing. Some talks include a mental health bloggers panel, a YouTuber, a radio presenter and a man who pulled himself from the edge of addiction.

Some of our activities include chair yoga for beginners, breathing workshops, EFT-Tapping, animal therapy and laughter therapy!

What else?! Book a ticket to MindTime, our performing arts show! For an hour and a half, we have amazing dancers and singers who tell their story through dance and song. Non-alcoholic drinks and cake will be served.

This is a full day out for the whole family.

Our last event saw over 200 people and we are expecting more this July! So come along and join us for a great day out to celebrate the achievements of those battling mental health difficulties.

HOW TO BOOK:

You must book a GENERAL ADMISSIONS TICKET to attend the event.

Then book workshop activities separately as some workshops have limited spaces!

Laughter Therapy - Learn how to use laughter to manage and aid your mental wellbeing.

Yoga - You don't need to know how to do yoga to take part in this activity, you don't need workout clothes and you don't even have to leave the comfort of your chair! This workshop is perfect for everyone who wants to use stretching to take care of their mental wellbeing.

Breathing Techniques - Take thirty minutes to learn breathing techniques to help you cope with stress, depression and anxiety.
