Exhibition and Buildings at Risk Catalogue 2019-2020 Launch
Date and time
Description
SAVE Britain's Heritage invites you to join us for the launch of "SAVE", an exhibition of new paintings of endangered buildings by the highly regarded painter, Gerard Stamp on 25th June from 6.30 p.m. Gerard's paintings for this exhibition powerfully capture the plight of all kinds of buildings which are at risk through neglect and disuse. The paintings will be for sale and Gerard is kindly donating half the proceeds of sale to support the work of SAVE in campaigning for these and other buildings.
We will also be celebrating 30 years of SAVE reports on buildings at risk with the launch of the latest volume, "Don't Leave Me This Way". Still vitally important as a means of highlighting neglected buildings which are standing empty all around the country needing a use to be brought back to life, this year’s catalogue features over 100 forgotten buildings. SAVE’s annual Buildings at Risk Catalogue continues to be a must read for anyone interested in Britain's heritage and is an essential tool for prospective restorers.
The exhibition runs from Monday 24th June to Friday 5th July. To view the exhibition at other times, please contact the SAVE Office on 020 7253 3500, office@savebritainsheritage.org.
RSVP is essential. If you cannot come, please do order a copy of this year's catalogue online on our website: www.savebritainsheritage.org/publications.
