About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

The Abolitionist Healing Collective presents a showcase of our workshops series, “Beyond Mental Health: Imagining Radical Care”. The workshops sought to deconstruct the mainstream approach to addressing what gets called “mental health”, working towards creating communities of care and alternatives to the mainstream systems. This exhibition will display the creative responses our workshop attendees had to the learning content, as well as photos from the workshops and the Abolitionist Healing Collective's first ever zine!

We want you to have the opportunity to explore the resources that inspired the sessions, and share your own creative or written reflections to the exhibition content. We'll be accepting donations on the day that will contribute to future acitivities with the Abolitionist Healing Collective. We aim to be fully transparent about financial contributions so look out for more details on this!
