Trix & Robert Haussmann
The Log-O-rithmic Slide Rule
Nottingham Contemporary presents the first UK retrospective of Trix & Robert Haussmann – one of the most significant and intriguing Swiss architects and designers of the twentieth century. The exhibition celebrates the duo’s playful innovations, concerning illusion and ambiguity with adapted chairs from the 1960s, maquettes, fragmented neoclassical pillars and their recent mirrored works. *At every one of our exhibition openings we like to give away 400 free cocktails; we wish we could give a free drink to everyone, but our complimentary drinks are limited and on first come first serve basis. Make sure you arrive early and remember to collect a drink token at the front entrance if you would like to claim a free drink. If you do arrive later and do not receive a free drink, our café downstairs will be serving tasty food and beverages for you to buy. Nottingham Contemporary is a charity and we do welcome donations.
