Exhibition tour - Visions of the Great White South
Join exhibition curator Charlotte Connelly for a free tour of the Friends of Scott Polar Research Institute's exhibition, Visions of the Great White South at Bonhams, New Bond Street, London.
The exhibition features eight artists, three from Captain Scott's 1910-13 Terra Nova expedition, and five contemporary artists from the Friends of Scott Polar Research Institute's Antarctic Artist in Residence programme. The exhibition reunites the iconic photography of Herbert Ponting with the evocative watercolors of Edward Wilson over a century after the two men first dreamt up their plan for a joint exhibition.
Visions of the Great White South is open to the public from 2 August until 19 August, Monday to Friday. Entry is free.
