Come with me, if you will to the outer reaches of the coaching cosmos as we explore the liminal edge of our shared being.
I aim to offer a simple introduction to existential philosophy and its practical application to the coaching relationship. The session will provide opportunities to explore how we can deepen our coaching relationships and develop some simple skills that will enable us to practice with access to deeper insight and powerful focus.
Lee Fishwick has been coaching and mentoring for 20 years and is currently lecturing part time in Coaching and Mentoring at the University Centre in Blackburn. He is also an owner director of a commercial training company and a community interest organisation – Transform Lives Company.
He started his working life as an apprentice in engineering. After 10 years he retrained to become a teacher and subsequently moved into the role of learning consultant in a local authority and in the commercial sector. He has been running his business interests for the past 5 years.
He has had an interest in existentialism all of his adult life but admits he didn’t realise that was what it was called until he started to prepare the degree programme for the university!
