Event description

Description

In 2015, over 1 million people journeyed across Europe, creating the largest movement of refugees since the Second World War.

Exodus: Our Journey to Europe is a devastating three part OU/BBC co-production. Filmed partly by the refugees themselves, Exodus intimately reveals the dangers and turmoil of seeking sanctuary: negotiating with smugglers, perilous journeys in dinghy boats and trekking across borders in an attempt to rebuild life.

We'll be screening episode 2 which shows the journey of Ahmad Al-Rashid, a Syrian Kurd from Aleppo, who will also be joining us for the Q&A afterwards.

The event is free and refreshments will be available for purchase - proceeds go towards costs of setting up the event and to aid local refugee organisations.

Join us to see the human face of the refugee crisis.

Doors open at 18:00. Screening scheduled to start at 18:30
