Ever thought singing acapella would be cool? Join us for a fun, free, and pressure-free a cappella open session! We sing 80s/90s/00s songs in a 4 part harmony as taught by our amazing, brilliant, extremely friendly Musical Director Emily!
What to Expect:
- Sing Acapella (obviously!): Vocal warm-ups, Exercises, Popular songs and friendly people! We'll leave the instruments behind and focus on what we can do with our own voices. We promise you´ll have a blast!
- From Beach Boys to Mika to Aerosmith: We sing songs from 80s/90s/00s that you know, love and want to sing!
- No Experience Necessary: We are a mixed choir, with lower and upper voices and a wide age range. So, whoever you are, whether you've been singing in for years or only in the shower, you'll find a welcome spot here.
- A Relaxed Vibe: If theres one thing we are, its friendly! Sing, experiment with your voice, and meet new people who love music!
"But I've never sung in a choir/ I'm not Beyonce/an amazing singer?"
No problem! You don't need to be a soloist to sing acapella. We sing in harmony and we arent professional singers, more like professionals who like to sing.
Need to know:
- Unfortunately, we cannot welcome people under the age of 18 at this event.
- We have limited number of free tickets for this event and you must have a ticket to attend.
- Arrive at 7pm!
- Located in the Black Prince Community Trust in Kennington (Closest Tube is Kennington).
