On Saturday 9th August we will be running a ramble at Upper Derwent. This is one of our longer rambles and has fantasic views right the way around the reservoir.
Please note, we will be meeting at 10am for a 10.30am start at Fairholmes Car Park. Please make sure you put Fairholmes Car Park, Derwent Ln, Bamford, Hope Valley, S33 0AQ.
We will be setting off at 10.30am. There are several accessible parking spaces and accessible toilets nearby.
This route will be around 10 Miles long and we would expect it could take up to around 4 hours, please come prepared for this. The weather can change very quickly, so please wear and bring appropriate clothing.
Dogs on Leads.
This will be a socially paced ramble of around 4 hours long with opportunities to stop for a break or take photographs.
We will stop to have a packed lunch so it is worth bringing food and drinks.
People who use other types of off-road mobility equipment are welcome to join the ramble, however, the route has only been checked using a Mountain Trike and access cannot be guaranteed. Please contact us to discuss this prior to booking.
