Experience & Engagement Network - Experience Based Design Workshop
Thu 8 September 2016, 09:00 – 16:00 BST
Led by members of our Lived Experience Panel, these quarterly meetings provide a forum for members to discuss experience of care topics, and develop understanding in how they can advance this complex and challenging agenda.
The focus of this meeting is experience based design (EBD) and will be led by Helen Baxter and AQuA’s EBD coaches.
EBD is an innovative method of co-designing health services with patients and staff based upon their actual experience of the service provided. The approach was
designed for and within the NHS to develop simple solutions that offer patients a better experience of treatment and care.
This meeting will feature:
- An introduction to EBD
- Examples of AQuA members EBD projects
- Practical understanding of the EBD process
- Opportunity to discuss EBD application with colleagues
- Tools to trigger future thinking on EBD application
