Due to the popularity of Experience Hadrian's Wall 25 we're doing another date - 8th September 2018!

25 miles along the UNESCO World Heritage Site, visiting the best the 2000 year old wall has to offer. If you've always wanted to walk Hadrian's Wall, this challenge will take you to some of the most iconic places along Hadrian's Wall Path.

Setting off from the village of Wall we'll visit...

  • Brocolitia Roman Fort and Mithraic Temple

  • Sewingshields Crags


  • Crag Lough and the famous Sycamore Gap

  • Winshield Crags

  • Cawfields & Walltown

  • Thirlwall Castle

  • Gilsland

The walk finishes at Birdoswald Roman Fort.

The cost of this event is £35 per person (excludes Eventbrite booking fee). Places are limited to 15 people.

An info pack, and email updates, including details about training and kit will be sent after booking.


What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There is public parking in the village of Wall, including public toilets. At the end of the walk (Birdoswald) there will be a minibus to bring us back to the start. There will also be a support vehicle during the day, in case of emergencies.

What's included in the price?

Pre event support which includes information about kit and training. Experienced guide for the day who'll tell you lots of fascinating tales about the places we visit. Transport at the end back to the start point in the village of Wall.

What's the refund policy?

There is a 7 day period following your booking date where we will accept cancellations and refunds. After the 7 days there are strictly no refunds. In the event that you can no longer attend the walk we will make those on the waiting list aware and you can then sell/transfer your place to that person.

We will not refund and resell on your behalf.

Are dogs allowed?

Unfortunately dogs are not allowed on this event.

Is there a minimum age limit?

Children (under 16) are welcome on the walk but must be accompanied by a paying adult. There is no child discount available. Any adult accompanying an under 16 is wholly responsible for the child with them.

How easy is the walk?

This is a challenging walk. The distance is 25 miles and in some sections involves steep, stepped terrain. This is not recommended as a beginners walk.

What happens in the event of bad weather?

The walk will go ahead if it's raining (no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothes). In the event of severe weather the event may be cancelled and rescheduled for another date. No refunds will be provided in the event of cancellation of the walk due to severe weather.
