For the second of our Experience wine events, we will be taking you to Penedes, a region just south of Barcelona, famous for their Cava, or as it is now being called in Penedes, Classic Penedes. This means that they are making it in the same manner as Champagne rather than following the rules of the Cava DO. We will also be tasting a selection of wines from Mas Comtal, a family run winery which makes some very special ones. Wines we will be tasting include:

1. Mas Comtal Classic Penedes
2. Joan Mila Classic Penedes
3. Pomell de Blancs
4. Antistiana Xarel'lo
5. Pizzicatto
6. Negre d'Anyada
7. Antistiana Cabernet Franc
8. Lyric (fortified wine)

We will also be able to try some Spanish olive oil from the same region. Food will also be provided by the venue.
