Workshop Overview
Open to guests, this special in-person group session at Yunus Emre Enstitüsü – London follows the traditional format of meşk gatherings — an immersive style of musical learning through listening, repetition, and collective performance.
The session lasts 60 minutes and offers a unique opportunity to engage with Turkish musical heritage in a vibrant, communal setting.
Entry Requirements
- Participants must be 16 years or older.
- Bringing your own Bağlama (Saz) is highly recommended.
- If you play a different instrument and would like to join the Meşk session as part of the ensemble, you are also welcome to participate.

- The workshop will be delivered in English; however, some Turkish musical terminology may be used.
- Please note that photography and filming may take place throughout the event for promotional and archival purposes. By registering, attendees consent to the use of their image and likeness in such materials.
Cancellation Policy
- Full refunds will be issued for cancellations made at least 3 days before the scheduled session.
- Cancellations made less than 3 days in advance are non-refundable.
- If the session is cancelled by the organiser, all participants will receive a full refund.
