Experimental darkroom processes: photograms, chemigrams, and lumigrams
Overview
Ready to try your hand at making something new in the darkroom? Come along for the afternoon to get your hands messy and have fun creating photographs without a camera. You'll learn how to make photograms using found objects and paper negatives; and you'll experiment with the chemigram process that uses ordinary household ingredients, such as honey, as a resist on photographic paper to create unique patterns, textures and shapes, and weather permitting, we'll try out a lumigram too.
3 hour session
Please bring along an apron, or wear something you don't mind might get stained. No previous photography or darkroom experience necessary. All materials included.
