Description

Expert Lecture: Creating a Scotland where everyone walks

We are delighted to have internationally acclaimed urban planner Brent Toderian from Canada delivering our Expert Lecture. Youll hear what we can learn from cities and towns large and small throughout the World to create a Scotland where everyone chooses to walk. Brent champions the importance of walking for livable, healthy places and we are excited to welcome him to Scotland.

Volunteer Awards: Celebrating our walking champions

We will be celebrating our fantastic volunteers, who are going the extra mile to create a happier, healthier Scotland where everyone can walk. We are delighted to have Minister for Sport and Public Health, Aileen Campbell joining us to present our Walking for Health awards.

Join us afterwards for networking and a delicious mocktail

Join us between 5pm and 6pm to raise a glass to our wonderful volunteers and network with guests.

Who should attend?

Those with an interest in creating a Scotland where everyone can be active and walk more. If you work in policy, health promotion, public health, promotion of walking, academia, environment, planning or active travel this is a must attend event.
