If you love 18th & 19th London, this immersive guided walk through Wapping is for you.
Dressed in Victorian attire I'm going to show you how London's docklands shaped this area back then and where you can still find its remains today. I'm also going to introduce you to historical figures that left their mark in Wapping, including a brave navigator, forward-thinking civil engineers, as well as a criminal who inspired classic literature. We'll also explore how law & order evolved in order to tackle crimes, but also look critically at social injustice.
Apart from diving into Wapping's fascinating past and discovering hidden gems, I'm also going to give recommendations on where you can learn more about the things I'm covering on our walk.
Meeting point:
Our meeting point is by the zebra crossing across Wapping Overground Station. Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start of the tour.

About me:
I'm a London tour guide and historical writer with a special focus on industrial heritage, who loves to dress up in Victorian attire. My current writing project is a historical crime novel, in which Isambard Kingdom Brunel's sister Emma becomes an amateur sleuth. I also spend a lot of time underground as a tour guide/museum ambassador at the Brunel Museum as well as a customer service assistant for Hidden London.
