Explore Learning at the Zoo - 'Enclosure Design' Maths Workshop!

Meet us in the Kalahari Theatre at Colchester Zoological 1pm - 2pm for our maths workshop where we will be designing an animal enclosure! (Entry admission to Colchester Zoological is NOT included. A day admission ticket will need to be purchased or a valid Zoo pass will need presenting at the gate).

We will be using our knowledge of area and perimeter to design different enclosures for a range of animals! This is aimed for children aged 4 - 14 years.

Explore Learning is a maths and English tuition centre based in Stanway Colchester. We provide tuition for children aged 4 - 16 years old. We are extremely excited to be collaborating with Colchester Zoo, and will be running our own independent workshops using our range of national curriculum resources.
