In this children's drop off session, we will start at the beach and explore the strandline, learning about the wildlife and natural forces that shape the coastline. After lunch we will then head back into the reserve and use binoculars to spot birds on the reserve from the bird hide while learning about their adaptations. We will then end the session at the outdoor log circle where we will explore the Saltmarsh and learn about it's invertebrate inhabitants.
Suitable for children aged 5 to 11 years with no accompanying adult - please bring a packed lunch to have on the reserve.

What to bring/wear: Please wear suitable outdoor clothing/footwear, and sun protection, for the weather conditions. Price includes a drink and a sweet treat but doesn’t include lunch please bring a packed lunch with you, the Lime Kiln café at the Centre will be open from 9.30am to 4.30pm.
Accessibility: We will use accessible paths on the reserve and into the education room and on booking will ask about additional needs. Our toilet facilities will be available, if needed, at the beginning and end of your session.
