Event description

Description

The Commons Library is opening for public tours for the first time ever - and for one day only. This tour takes you behind the scenes to an area of Parliament usually only open to MPs.

First opened in 1852, the Commons Library's collection contains 228,000 items - which adds up to 8000 meters of stock. As well as housing this collection, the Library has a research service made up of 70 experts in everything from Brexit to bees.

Come and explore the Library, hear about its history and how it works today.
