Explore Trees Through Print - Sycamore
Join us for a hands-on experience where you can explore the beauty of trees through the art of printmaking. This event focuses on the Sycamore tree, with it's assocaitions with protection and fairie folklore and we'll be exploring how to identify a Sycamore in the landscape.
One of the critical skills of deepening our awareness with nature is observation and we will be connecting with the tree, through drawing to document and explore what we see. From noticing the unfurling of a leaf, the texture in the bark or the patterns in a flower or seed, we will be using these drawings to create a lino print, on a fabric square to take home.
This is part of a series of workshops exploring different trees throughout the gardens at Bagshaw, through summer, autumn and winter.

- Black Walnut
