Now in its fourth year, Explore Your Archive is a campaign designed for archives of all kinds throughout the UK and Ireland. This year the main launch week will run from 18 to 26 November 2017. The aim of this campaign is to increase public awareness of the essential role of archives in our society, to celebrate our network of collections and emphasise the skills and professionalism of the sector.

To help you create events and promote stories relevant to your collections and communities, we have developed a set of easy-to-follow marketing guidelines which The National Archives' Marketing and Press Team colleagues will present to you in this 45 minute webinar, covering the following:

- Key messages
- Getting buy in and support internally within your organisation
- Communicating with your local and relevant media
- Engaging local groups, organisations or charities
- Making the most of your current users
- Creating a story box
- How to run an effective social media campaign
- Creating posters and leaflets

There will also be the opportunity for a question and answer session in the second half of this webinar.

The Explore Your Archive campaign is coordinated by The National Archives and the Archives and Records Association (UK and Ireland).
