Backstage Taster Day

Sunday 7th March, 1.30pm-3.30pm

We have partnered up with Backstage Niche to provide free taster sessions in technical theatre this March which aim to explore the exciting possibilities of a career in backstage theatre. 

These sessions are primarily targeted at young people from ethnically diverse backgrounds currently underrepresented in the creative industries, but are open to anyone in the UK aged 16-25. 

The Taster Day: Join freelance creatives from the Backstage Niche network for a taster session introducing the disciplines: Stage Management, Costume, Set Design, Lighting, and Sound. During the session you'll rotate and experience mini-sessions with a specialist from each discipline, and get a real sense of what different jobs in backstage theatre might look like.
