About this event

Sofia is the founder of SEMA (Scottish Ethnic Minority Autistics) CIC. SEMA strive to improve understanding of being Autistic from the various communities of the Global Majority.

Sofia will be sharing lived experiences of navigating the social care system as a Black or Brown Autistic person and the impact that the system can have upon these individuals and families. She will also be discussing how an individuals' cultural background can impact accessing and working with services. The session will include signposting and discussion of supports available.
