About this event

The Jenkins Centre is the perpetrator service in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. We have been in service since 2012. We offer interventions to support perpetrators change their behaviour and a Partner Support Service providing emotional and practical support to survivors.

Through our expertise of working with both perpetrators and victims of abuse, we have developed knowledge of how to explore the dynamics of relationships, including dual and counter allegations of abuse.

The training has the following aims:

Introduce different dynamics/typologies of relationships;

Develop understanding of the difference between mutual abuse and violent resistance;

Offer guidance of how to identify if a male is a victim of abuse;

Develop confidence in how to respond to perpetrators that may present themselves as victims;

Develop understanding of The Jenkins Centre and how to refer.

This training is for professionals in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland only.

You will be emailed a quick questionnaire to be completed prior to and following the session. You will not gain access to the training without completion of the pre-questionnaire.
