An Open Technology and Innovation Workshop.

Co-organised by the University of Glasgow’s Schools of Business, Engineering and Medicine.

WHAT?
Chronic diseases such as cardiometabolic diseases and cancer are major global health issues. The University of Glasgow invites executives, entrepreneurs and senior managers from the public and private healthcare sector to explore future digital healthcare solutions such as mobile apps that can be used in the management of chronic diseases.

The objective of this workshop is to explore the challenges and opportunities relating to the digitization of healthcare. Participants will contribute to and take away thought pieces of potential solutions to improve the quality of life of those affected by chronic disease.

Following the workshop all participants will have the opportunity to network over lunch with fellow business leaders, technology entrepreneurs, senior managers of public health services and experts from academia.

WHO?
Executives, entrepreneurs and senior managers from the healthcare, telecommunications, digital technology and public governance sector.
