TRIGGER PhD seminar series on gendering research:

Qualitative approaches to study gender in management within a constructionist philosophy.

Gender ≠ women; Age ≠ old

Overview

This session will outline social constructionist approaches to the study of gender and what these contribute to our understanding of gender in relation to work. It will be illustrated with studies from the Age at Work project, with analysis of both textual and visual data relating to both men and women as a way of examining gendered ageing at work.

This course is open to all Postgraduate Researchers at Birkbeck.

Tea/coffee/water/biscuits will be provided. Please bring your own lunch.
