Join us in Fife for a study day which brings together professionals who support bereaved men and boys, to share their knowledge, challenges and expertise.

About the study day

Child Bereavement UK are working with Health Promotion Service, Fife Health & Social Care Partnership, to organise this study day to explore bereavement in men and boys with a focus on bereavement by suicide and drug/alcohol related deaths.

Sean Humphries, from Child Bereavement UK will give an insight into how men grieve and why we might need to challenge our common misconceptions in order to offer the best possible support. We will also be joined by speakers from various organisations, details of which and agenda to follow.

We will seek to understand and raise awareness of the different ways that men and boys grieve. Bringing together those who work to support bereaved men and boys and providing you with the opportunity to share expertise, ask questions and discuss issues so that you are better enabled to offer support.

The study day will include presentations and the opportunity to network.
