This is a free event available to those aged 13+ who are interested in discovering more about leadership.

With special guests Commissioners Brian and Rosalie Peddle the day will include inspiring worship, seminar for all, tours of William Booth College and lunch.

SEMINARS

Planning and Leading Creative Worship – Who am I and why am I here? What is worship? Come and explore the foundations of worship, worship themes and the practice of worship in this challenging and informative seminar. – Major Chris Baldwin

Leading as a Local Officer – AN INCREDIBLE JOURNEY! – Ever thought the CSM was there to straighten the chairs and give announcements – s/he is, plus a whole lot more! The CSM at Sheffield Citadel shares the personal journey he has been on since being the CSM, the highs and lows of having to fully embrace the first line of his CSM job description!’ – Roger Coates

Sports Ministry – Do you have a vision to see a change in culture within the community that you live in; to see the gospel shared, see lives transformed and disciples made? Well, you can do this using Sport as the catalyst. Come along to receive practical tips, support and encouragement in this very practical, mission focused session. – Rob Moye

Pioneer Leadership – As we unpack what it means to Pioneer we will rediscover that this is very much the DNA of The Salvation Army and resonates with our missional heartbeat. Why not come along and join the adventure? – Major Andrew Vertigan

Leadership and Social Justice – We will introduce local leaders to tools for participating in The Salvation Army's proud tradition of seeking justice for those we serve through our acts of compassion. With stories of how corps have joined in the Refugees Welcome campaign, the seminar will explore ways in which local corps can 'act justly' in their local communities. – Captains John and Naomi Clifton
