Event description
Research suggests that understanding our own narratives can help us to unpick our current circumstances, self-beliefs and motivations.

About this Event

Do we ever get to tell our life stories? When was the last time you told your life story to someone? Sometimes, even the people closest to us don’t really know our histories, and may rarely enquire into them.

In this workshop we will use mindfulness meditation and appreciative enquiry to help us to share our life stories in caring and compassionate ways within a trusting and safe environment. There will be opportunity for individual reflection, paired work, and group discussion aided by regular meditation practices throughout the session. Prior to attending the session, we ask you to write down a broad outline of your life story (this can be a bullet-point list if you wish) so that you are able to engage fully with the session. You will not be expected to show this to anyone, and will only need to discuss those aspects of your story that you feel comfortable with sharing.

Places are limited so please confirm attendance at your earliest convenience.
