Exploring Modern Work Experience: Supporting the Work Experience Guarantee Across The Marches
Join us for an engaging online session focused on reimagining work experience for young people across Herefordshire, Shropshire, and Telford & Wrekin. As part of a pilot involving around 15 institutions, this event will showcase flexible and inclusive models of delivery that support the Government’s Work Experience Guarantee.
Using the Careers & Enterprise Company’s Equalex framework, we’ll explore approaches such as:
- Workplace Visits
- Career Carousels
- Career Safaris
These models are designed to be differentiated to meet the diverse needs of young people, including those with SEND or at risk of becoming NEET.
Employer input and support is highly valued throughout this pilot. Your involvement helps shape meaningful experiences that connect young people with the world of work and raise aspirations across our region.
This session will provide practical insights into embedding impactful work experience aligned with Gatsby Benchmark 6 and the latest statutory guidance.
