As part of the Neurodiversity in Education (NiE) project, we will be opening a few training modules for parents and carers, with this first one focusing on “Exploring Neurodiversity“.

With this training, we aim to:

  1. Increase awareness and understanding of neurodiversity
  2. Talk about how schools can promote inclusivity
  3. Challenge myths and misconceptions
  4. Empower parent-carers
  5. Explain the legal frameworks that apply to neurodiversity


Who is this training for?

UPDATE: The workshop is now open to all parents and carers who live in the city of Manchester!

We will first offer tickets to parents and carers whose child/ young person goes to one of the schools signed up for the NiE project:

Who is this event for?

This event is for parents/carers of children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) who live in the city of Manchester. Priority will be given to those who have children and young people that go to a school that accesses the Neurodiversity in Education programme.
