Oceans cover seven tenths of our planet and are home to a huge range of living things. In this second Linnean Society Student Lecture of the year, Dr Helen Scales will unveil the oceans’ living wonders, offer a glimpse into the life of a marine biologist and show why there’s never been a more important time to look after the marine realm.
Helen is a marine biologist, writer and documentary-maker. She’s studied giant fish on coral reefs in Borneo, Australian whale sharks, Madagascan mangroves and she’s recently returned from a journey around the world researching her latest book, about the wonders of fishes.
Tickets are free. Please register on the Linnean Society website.
