Exploring Servitenviertel in Alsergrund
Sun 23 April 2017, 13:40 – 15:40 CEST
Dear Photo Walkers,
Having enjoyed our last photo walk in the St. Ulrich Grätzl of Neubau, we’ve decided to do a similarly detailed, focused walk around another Grätzl in the inner city this month: Servitenviertel in Alsergrund, the 9th District of Vienna. From churches to green parks, museums to palaces, and hipster shops to the river banks – the Servitenviertel is charming, photogenic, and has a rich history.
This photo walk is carried out by Vienna Photo Walk in collaboration with Vienna Expats: one of Vienna’s largest online communities providing information for Expats living in and around Vienna. It'll be a great chance to meet new faces!
Meeting date: Sunday, April 23 2017
Meeting time: 13:40 (walk starts at 13:45)
Registration: necessary> please click the green REGISTER-button on this page
Meeting place: in front of the restaurant "Das Kolin", on Kolingasse 5, 1090
In an effort to give everyone a fair chance, we have created two types of tickets; please pick the one that applies to you:
1. I'M NEW TO VPW (I have joined your photo walks 0-2 times before)
2. I'M NOT NEW TO VPW (I have joined your photo walks 3+ times already)
All tickets are free, as usual. We look forward to seeing old friends and making new ones!
P.S. If you can’t get a ticket and want to be put on the Waiting List, please send a message to email@example.com and we’ll contact you in the event of a cancellation.
Getting there: The Wiener Linien Route Planner is an excellent tool to help you plan your route, in real time. The same tool, called qando, may be downloaded for free and used as an app on any smartphone.
Cancellation of event: Should it come to this, the cancellation will be announced in the morning (9:30am) on the day of the event (23.04.2017) on your homepage, on Facebook, and on Instagram. Every registered participant will also be notified via email. If you miss a cancellation notice, we cannot be held responsible. Thank you for your understanding.
Disclaimer: Vienna Photo Walk is a non-profit organisation run by local volunteers. The members of VPW come from all walks of life, are of different ages, and come from different countries; our common language is English. Our photo walks are not guided tours, and our group leaders not professional tour guides; VPW simply organises free meet-ups for local photographers, with the sole aim of taking pictures together and meeting like-minded, creative people with an interest in photography.
