Exploring STEM for Girls is a fun and interactive event designed to excite, inform and spark girls’ curiosity in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM).

This event is for female students in Years 9 – 11 and will include opportunities to:

  • Take part in practical and fun activities
  • Meet and talk to female students, lecturers, apprentices, graduates and staff from a variety of industry partners
  • Discover real world applications and careers in Engineering, Science and Maths
  • Explore the huge variety of exciting career paths open to students with STEM qualifications and skills
  • Investigate subject choices and options beyond Year 11
  • Find out about different career routes and qualifications

The session will include an inspirational talk from female engineers and there will be a wide selection activities where students will have the opportunity to get involved in lots of practical engineering activities and demonstrations.
