The event will aim to explore the new “EU’s Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union”. It will provide an opportunity to brief the diplomatic and business community on what the new department lead by Lord Hill will aim to achieve (highlighting some key policy priorities), and what role the financial services can play to support economic growth in the EU. In addition the event will be discussing financial services regulatory challenges so as to deliver a well-integrated and diverse capital markets and a stable financial system that will be ensuring new businesses, more investment and more jobs.
