Exploring the Future of Botanical Image Making

About this Event
Our digitally connected world is profoundly image led yet the practice of botanical image making, and types of image commissioned is little changed in several hundred years. This is in contrast to advances in botanical science and demands placed on the profession.
Using examples from the Fritillaria Icones Project this lecture looks at structuring images for online use. Also, wider uses within botanical science and in science communication.
Laurence Hill is a botanical researcher and award-winning photographer with a special interest in Fritillaria.
