Event Details

Today’s Data Warehouse landscape looks much different than in years past. In addition to common database tools, like SQL Server, distributed processing environments to process streaming, unstructured, and very large data are becoming part of everyday usage. As a data analytic professional it's likely that you'll run into Hadoop at some point in the near future. During this workshop, you'll learn the basics of HDInsight so you can feel comfortable in standing up your own cluster and having a good place to start.

We'll be working with familiar datasets and will practice ingesting, cleansing, and processing data with the tools available in HDInsight. During the exploration, we'll cover some common data pipeline scenarios as they apply to Modern Data Architecture including Hadoop as an ETL Offload environment, Online Data Warehouse Archive, Unstructured Data Analysis, and Streaming Data Acquisition.

Bring your Azure subscription and participate in this workshop in real time!
