About this event

This spooky season, make your way to the Underworld with Nikita Gill as she discusses her new novel Hekate – a fiery, absorbing retelling of the Greek myth of an orphan girl who grows up in the underworld and goes on to become the goddess of witchcraft, necromancy and darkness. A propulsive, electrifying and enraging retelling of the life of Hekate, child of war turned all-powerful goddess, by internationally bestselling poet Nikita Gill.

Nikita Gill is a British-Indian poet, playwright, writer and illustrator living in the south of England. She has published five collections of poetry: Your Soul Is A River, Your Heart is the Sea, Wild Embers Fierce Fairytales and Great Goddesses. She is the editor of the poetry anthology SLAM! and a novel in verse called The Girl and Goddess was published on National Poetry Day 2020.
