About this Event

Growing your Business through International Trade. Bookable 1 hour appointments available.

Go global! This export clinic will provide you with expert one-to-one advice on exporting and growing your business through international trade. You'll receive one-hour of free advice tailored to your business, from experts from the Department for International Trade and the Enterprise Europe Network.

Why attend this clinic?

Exporting can be a great way to grow your business. By opening new markets, you can improve profitability and spread risk.

However, fewer than 30% of smaller companies in the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain export. Obstacles include HR constraints, lack of information about international markets, cumbersome administrative processes, limited access to investment capital and difficulties in finding business partners abroad.

We can provide advice and support to help you to overcome these barriers.

What is covered?

These 1-1 appointments will help you to understand what is needed to build a compliant, sustainable and profitable export business, and provide you with answers to the following:

  • Is my company ready to export? Which products/services?
  • Which markets are viable for my business?
  • How should I enter these markets?
  • What marketing plans do I need to put in place?
  • How do I deliver abroad and mitigate risks for my business?
  • How can I access funding and finance for innovative export products/services?

20th January 2021. Bookable, one-hour appointments available from 9.30am – 1pm

Important additional information:

This clinic can be delivered via telephone or an online meeting via Zoom or Teams. When booking your appointment slot, you will be able to select your preferred option.
