Exporting: Is it for you?
Thu 18 May 2017, 09:30 – 12:30 BST
This workshop is funded by the European Regional Development Fund and is hosted by the D2N2 Growth Hub in partnership with the Department for International Trade.
There has never been a better time for East Midlands businesses to grow by trading overseas.
The Department for International Trade provides assistance to those looking to trade internationally – both by uncovering export opportunities, and via face-to-face advice.
This free, interactive and thought provoking seminar is aimed at companies that are interested in exporting, and designed to set them on the path to start winning business overseas. This seminar is open to companies selling products or services, and will take a look at the business benefits of exporting; the considerations you need to take into account, and a ‘’readiness-checker’’.
Experienced International Trade Advisers will deliver the session, during which you will also hear from local companies who sell a variety of product/service offerings and who are already realising the benefits of trading overseas. We aim to help attendees to decide whether or not exporting is right for their business, and to showcase the breadth of support available to all.
Attendance is free, all we ask for is a little of your time – it could be at the best investment you make this year!
The demand is out there… you could be too.
This workshop is funded via the European Regional Development Fund, therefore we are required to evidence that you are a small to medium enterprise.
There will be a couple of forms that will need to be completed prior to the event and these will be sent to you once you have registered. One form is to ensure you are a small to medium enterprise, the second is to capture any business support you have received over the last 3 years to ensure you haven’t exceeded €200,000. If you have previously completed these forms at a Growth Hub event you will not have to complete another set.
