After the success of 'Express Ya Self' part 1 and 2 we are happy to bring back our women's workshop to engage, embrace and empower YOU through dance.

What is 'Express Ya Self:

Express Ya Self is dedicated towards connecting, cherishing and celebrating women through music & dance. A chance to feel and be more confident. Embrace your INNERself, be encouraged to self reflect along with confidence building techniques in a safe, friendly enviroment.

PLUS this workshop is ideal for students, graduates and all women passionate about dance, wishing to learn somthing new and / or stregthen their dance technqiue & performance skills. We will work on:

1. Creative movement & choreography
2. Experiment with movement
3. Become a more diverse dancer through - Afrobeat, Hip Hop, Reggae Dancehall and Afro House
4. Improve and progress as a dancer
5. Increase your flexibility, coordination, agility, core body strength and fitness levels
6. Meet new women and socialise

Who

Express Ya Self dance workshop is delivered by Tamar, fouder of Unique Movez Dance Collective. Tamar is a freelance dance artist and practitionor active in Arts Education and Artist Development both nationally and internationally. Tamar founded Unique Movez in 2018 and specialises in House, Hip Hop, African & Caribbean dance practices, Urban Contemporary and Creative Movement - Choreography.
