Join us for a one day practical CPD workshop designed for educators without much portraiture drawing experience or those who would like to refresh their approach to teaching portraiture and drawing in the primary classroom. Working with a practising artist, this practical one day workshop will develop your portraiture drawing skills for use in the primary classroom. Looking at both traditional and more expressive approaches.
- Warm-up exercises for the classroom
- Explore variety of materials for mark-making
- Tone, shade, line
- Observation and composition skills
- Develop your own portraiture skills and bring confidence to teaching portraiture in your primary classroom
- Discover how portraiture can help your pupils look at the world differently
