A series of 6 full day workshops, 36 hours of taught time, designed to develop your expressive drawing and painting skills in a variety of media.

The class will meet at 10am where you will then enjoy sketching outdoors at different locations each week, including the Park, Findhorn Village, the woods, and the beach, during the morning session (10 - 1pm) stopping for lunch at 1pm. During the afternoon session back at the studio (2-5pm) we will then develop the ideas using a variety of media and expressive techniques.

One of the advantages of this course, is that it brings the type of tutoring normally available only on residential courses to a local and familiar environment and in manageable weekly one day workshops.

About the Tutor

Exhibiting and teaching for many years, Celia’s work ranges from graphic illustration to highly abstract, capturing the spontaneous and intuitive nature of living in the moment – a type of expressive freedom. Founding Elemental Community Arts in 2008, Celia has worked extensively with local schools and community groups in the Highlands and Moray. These days, you will find Celia working in her Forres-based studio, teaching groups and individuals at local venues and exhibiting widely
