EY Hub - Developmental Movement

The session includes:
Learn about what developmental movement is
Discover the structure of the brain and how it is developed by movement
Find out about the development of movement by looking at reflexes and motor milestones.
Discover how this results in children developing the competences of balance, coordination and control and influences their future academic learning
Discover the link between early movement and children’s writing
Establish how competence in movement impacts on self esteem and confidence
Discuss the impact of the 21st century on children's developing movement.

Aimed at: Experienced practitioners, new or inexperienced practitioners.

Cost: Please select the appropriate ticket on the tickets page. Please pay via Eventbrite if you can, if not we are able to invoice you (please note these tickets are NOT free). Invoices must be paid in full before the course date.
Schools and group settings: Courses cost £65 for a half day. Schools and settings can book 6 half day places for £300. These can be for one or more practitioners across one or more different EY Hub courses.
Childminders: Courses cost £40 for a half day.
