Description

Everyday 250 people will start to lose their sight in UK.
Around 2 Million people are estimated to be living with sight loss in the UK today which is severe enough to significantly impact upon their daily lives.
World Health Organisation confirms that 80% of all Visual Impairment globally is preventable.
We gather 90% of information about our environment through our eyes, hence our sight plays a very important role in learning and also performing everyday tasks.
This informative talk will raise your awareness about:
• Eye conditions, their prevention, care and support
• How to keep your eyes healthy
• How your lifestyle can impact your long term eye health
• Tips for healthy eyes
• Where to find information and support if you realise you or your loved ones have eye problems or loss of vision

VI forum is supported by Lancashire County Council. They support citizens of Lancashire, who are visually impaired and blind.
