Eyes For Gertrude.... Celebrating The Music of Elton John and Bernie Taupin

A unique concert from Eyes For Gertrude.
As part of " Vinyl Collectors and Sellers" record shop Elton John Weekend celebrating 50 years of the songwriting partnership of Elton John and Bernie Taupin "Eyes For Gertrude" take to the stage in the presence of Ray Williams..... the man who put Elton and Bernie together in 1967 through his placement of an advert in The New Musical Express.
In the first part of the concert the girls will be playing a selection of their own compositions.
During the interval there will be an interview with Ray Williams who will be talking about the early days of one of the most successful song writing partnerships in the world whom he managed for the the first five years during the time when they broke America and had early chart success with hits such as " Your Song"
In the second half Eyes For Gertrude will be performing a few of Elton and Bernie's songs.
You payment for these tickets will be a donation to The Elton John Aids Foundation and The Chernobyl Children's Life Line.
Minimum suggested donation £ 15 per ticket.
There will be a licensed bar available throughout the evening.
Doors will open 19.00
