Thu 10 November 2016, 20:00 – 21:00 GMT
After the success of our Summer Festival in July, St John Ambulance in Bognor Regis are organising another fundraising event for the St John Eye Hospital in Jerusalem. As well as the screening of the award-winning film, directed and produced by Carlo Nero and Vanessa Redgrave, authentic food from Jerusalem should be avalible to all!
We are asking a voluntary entry donation of £5 which will be donated directly to support the work of they Eye Hospital. Your donation can be made on the door to avoid this website's admin fees.
‘Eyes of St John’ is a documentary about St John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital Group, highlighting the tireless effort made every day, across the Israeli-Palestinian divide, by their team of medical staff who provide vital eye care in a region of the world where blindness is ten times higher than in the West.
Please note it is not essential to get a ticket in advance - the only reason for this site is so we can get a rough idea of how many guests are due to turn up.
Is there an age limit to enter the event?
This film does not have an official age rating but please note that this film does contains a scene of intricate eye surgery in one of the operating theatres at the Hospital.
How will I find the venu?
There is a map of the venue and local area here. There will also be a St John Ambualance flag outside so you won't have a problem finding us.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
There is a car park avalible for all guests. If this fills up, which is quite likley, there is a lot of space on side-roads with direct paths to the venue. You can view the parking facilities as well as the local side-roads here as you may not want to park on the main road outside the venu as this is a large main road.
Where can I contact the organiser with any questions?
You can contact us on our Facebook page here.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
You do not need to bring your tcket with you - this ticket site is mainly so we get an idea of numbers of guests that will be attending.
