We are so excited to announce the first taster & sign-up session for our 8 Week F-ART (fun-art) JOURNALLING COURSE!

At this session you will be able to:

- find out more about the course

- see some examples of the journals

- meet our staff and volunteers

- have a play about with some of our high quality art materials

This course will be an ongoing programme, running in cohorts of 8 weeks at a time.

F-Art Journalling Course is a peer-led course for fellow spoonies, chronically ill adults, people who are looking for a more colourful way to "cope" with pain, those who hate the word "cope" and are fed up of professionals telling them to do it... You get the drift!

A professionally humorous, empathetic AND serious take on some evidence-based elements of CBT and Art Therapy, this 8 week course is focussed on the wonders of coping for distraction from pain, boredom and doodling both to untangle your head and for the sheer sake of doodling.

Both learning from and laughing at certain aspects of the Insta-craze of #bulletjournalling we hope to create a safe, colourful and fun atmosphere.

By the end of the 8 week course, you'll have your own beautiful journal/pamphlet/notebook full of all sorts of humorous/moving/intriguing entries and a supportive network of people to see every week.

Empowerment is about the intersect of enjoyment//agency and is not just an outcome on a questionnaire.
