Fab Lab Workshop: Macrame Gnome Decoration

Learn simple macrame techniques to create a charming festive gnome—perfect to hang in your home or gift to someone special.

The session is £7 and includes all teaching and materials. The Fab Lab is on the first floor accessible via the lift or stairs.

This workshop is open to all, aged 12 years and above.

By booking, adults agree to take responsibility for the safety of any children in their care while attending and using the Fab Lab machines. Library staff provide instruction and supervision of equipment, but parents/guardians of children must ensure attendees follow Fab Lab safety rules.

Refunds - Our policy is no refunds. If you cannot attend, please notify us so we can release your ticket to a waiting list.

Late Arrival - You may arrive up to 15 minutes late, but content covered during this time cannot be repeated, as the session will be in progress.

Legal, Ethical, and IP Notice - All projects must be safe, legal, and appropriate. Participants may not create offensive, unsafe, or illegal designs, and must respect copyright and intellectual property rights when producing their mug designs.

Library staff have the final discretion on what designs may be printed or pressed.
