Event description
Would you like to make your own fabric reusable gift wrap from scraps? Learn sewing skills? Have a taste of Furoshiki wrapping?

About this Event

In this drop-in session, you can have access to our 2nd hand materials and hand sewing tools, making your own unique gift wrap from scraps. And you may even have a taste of Furoshiki wrapping!

Welcome to visit us for scrap material that you would like to incoorperate into your own projects, we are able to offer a resonable quantity per person.

We aim to reuse resources around us and reduce buying new from shops to save the environment as well as introducing practical skills and the satisfaction of making.

This is an alternative activity during our library room opening hours, you may find inspiration through our special collection of books relating to Chinese arts and craft, you may register free membership and borrow books from us.

No experience in sewing necessary.

Workshop runs in a drop-in format and your time with us is flexible.

Pop round to visit us. All are welcome. Cantonese and Mandarin interpretation available.

This is supported by Climate Challenge Fund.
